Austin’s New Year

December 31 from 7 pm – 12 am

The biggest Austin New Year event is taking place at Auditorium Shores (800 W Riverside Dr). This event is free and open to the public, so you can celebrate without putting strain on your wallet. There are tons of events happening throughout the night, including a performance by Third Eye Blind and a fireworks show at 11:55 pm. This event is family-friendly!

The Capital Countdown

December 31 starting at 8 pm

This Austin New Year event is always a hit! The Capital Countdown takes place at The Belmont Austin (305 W 6th St). Enjoy a silent disco, balloon drop, photobooth, complimentary champagne toast, and more. Tickets start at $75. This is a 21+ event.

The Thinkery: New Year’s Eve Celebration

Looking for a family-friendly Austin New Year event? The Thinkery hosts a New Year’s celebration each year, and your kids will love it. Except to celebrate with a balloon drop, crafts, music, and more. Plus, the event is hosted at kid-friendly hours, so you don’t have to keep your little ones up all night.

POSH Austin New Year’s Eve

December 31 from 8:45 pm – 1:30 am

Head to the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown (700 San Jacinto Blvd) for a night of dancing, drinking, and fun. Ticket price starts at $115 and includes four hours of premium prepaid drinks and two rooms with live DJs. This is a 21+ event you don’t want to miss.

Gatsby’s House Austin New Year

December 31 from 8:30 pm – 1:30 am

Get dressed up for an upscale celebration at the Hilton Austin Hotel (500 E 4th St). Your ticket includes five hours of prepaid drinks, music from top Texas DJs, casino games, and more. Ticket prices start at $135 per guest. This event is 21+.
